Concerned Citizens Speak Out

How soon we tend to forget that, that has forged history.
We need not forget the evil that was acted out upon us--
America.

Duet. 4:9
Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of your life:
but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;

On this page we will publish letters by people as yourself.
Patriots, concerned for their Country.
We also encourage you to write to your Congressmen and your Senators.
Voice your opinions, speak your concerns.

When considering the elections coming in November of 2006, keep this in mind.

The attempt to separate the private and the public, or the moral from the practical, has produced disastrous consequences, because a man's character inevitably affects his philosophy and policy.
Bad men make bad decisions and frame bad laws. That is why a leader's character is always the essential issue in determining his fitness to govern.
Noah Webster warned us of this over 200 years ago.

When you become entitled to exercise the right of voting for public officers, let it be impressed on your mind that God commands you to choose for rulers, "just men who will rule in the fear of God." The preservation of government depends on the faithful discharge of this duty; if the citizens neglect their duty and place unprincipled men in office, the government will soon be corrupted; laws will be made, not for the public good so much as for selfish or local purposes; corrupt or incompetent men will be appointed to execute the laws; the public revenues will be squandered on unworthy men; and the rights of the citizens will be violated or disregarded.

The Teaching Of Evolution In Our Public Schools

By Derrick Rhodes
February 2, 2004

There is a new controversy brewing this week in the Georgia public school system. The superintendent, Kathy Cox, wants to stop using the term "Evolution". She stated we should use the term "biological changes over time". I heard one secular radio host blaming this change in terminology on fundamentalist Christians. This particular host claimed this to be an attempt of fundamentalism to remove evolutionary teaching from our schools. For me, a fundalmental Christian, I feel this is an attempt by the Humanists to hide the true nature of what is being taught to our children. I prefer we continue to call evil what it truely is--evil! In this way there will be no confusion in what is polluting the minds of our children.

The minds of our children are being vexed by this illogical theory being taught as fact in our classrooms. The sad fact is, it is happening with the full authority and tax dollars of our citizens. We look at the degradation of our children's morals, academics, and self esteem and wonder what is occuring. Everyday we send them to school with the admonition to study hard and learn. When they get to school, they are taught their morals are relative, their ancestors are apes, and their parents are ignorant. Is there any wonder that our children have no self-esteem?
